Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Adoption Support Manager to fill a full-time role within a Children's Services based in Wigan.
The pay rate for this locum Adoption Support Manager job is £35 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- Lead and manage an experienced team of Adoption Social Workers and Support Staff
- Supporting the Service Manager in the development and running of the Regional Adoption Agency.
Requirements:
- A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).
- Registered on Social Work England.
- Management experience is essential.
- Must be an excellent communicator, and a strong supportive team member, who can work collaboratively with colleagues' strengths.
- Must be confident in your position as a leader to ensure improved service developments and positively challenge when standards, service delivery or practice needs to be reviewed.
- Have significant experience of Adoption as a social worker and experience as a manager of a Social Work Team.
- Must have knowledge of current and prospective adoption legislation, guidance, procedures and practices will be extensive and thorough.
