Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Acute Occupational Therapist to work in Leytonstone on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £25 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an ongoing contract.
Working hours: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Needs to be able to work mix of early (8am - 4pm) and late (10am - 6pm) shifts.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- 2 years' experience working as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working in an acute NHS hospital within an MDT
- Necessary skills/experience: Competent in assessment/treatment/discharge planning in acute wards in a busy hospital
- Good communication skills
- Knowledgeable in equipment provision for safe discharge
