What you will do:
- Conduct meticulous final accuracy checks on prescriptions and medication orders previously verified by pharmacists.
- Adhere to established protocols and guidelines, ensuring compliance during the dispensing process.
- Participate actively in quality assurance processes to uphold high standards within the pharmacy.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to support safe medication practices.
- Communicate clearly with team members regarding medication management and discrepancies.
- Assist in training and supervising junior staff and pharmacy trainees, mentoring new staff to support their development.
- Maintain accurate records of all dispensing activities, including documenting any incidents or errors.
- Ensure pharmacy equipment is maintained in good working order, promptly reporting any issues.
Requirements:
- Must be GPHC registered.
- ACT is essential.
- Work required Monday to Friday.
