Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Access to Resources Placements Manager to fill a full-time role within a Children's Services based in Hillingdon.
The pay rate for this locum Access to Resources Placements Manager job is £38 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing expert and professional advice.
- Ensure that the highest standards of technical expertise, professional advice and guidance are provided to the team, individuals and others.
- To manage workload systems to ensure resources address priority cases and respond to changing needs and circumstances, ensuring staff workloads reflect waiting priority cases.
- To develop systems and procedures that identify and respond to the safety needs of young people and staff, providing a premium service to those at high risk. Give guidance and direction, and to ensure that the staff act in accordance with statutory requirements, policies and procedures.
- To be a member of the Service Management Group and contribute to the development of the Service and Team Business Plan, to determine service objectives for the team and to prepare and implement the Business Plan for the team.
- To ensure that both team and individual plans are in place, which reflect the divisional/service team business planning priorities.
- Ensure management information is available to the Department.
- To represent the Department and to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Collaborate with others on projects and initiatives to raise standards of the Department.
- Ensure own and teams professional knowledge is updated and that new legislation, policy and practice guidance is understood and implemented within the team.
- To produce and analyse management information as required.
Requirements:
- A recognised and relevant professional social work qualification (Degree / Diploma in Social Work).
- Registered on Social Work England.
- Management experience is essential.
