Sanctuary Health is currently looking for experienced and dedicated Band 6 Microbiology Biomedical Scientists to fill a full-time role in Blackburn. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Biomedical Scientist practices and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for these locum Biomedical Scientist jobs are £25 - £26 per hour (Assignment rate). One contract is for 8 months and one for 12 months. The hours of work are 37.5 hours per week on a roster pattern covering day, evening and night shifts.
Requirements of the Biomedical Scientists:
- HCPC registered
- Must have a relevant qualification in biomedical science (BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science or alternative qualification)
- Post qualifying experience within a similar role
- A minimum 2 years NHS experience is required for the role
- Able to perform routine laboratory techniques within the field of Microbiology
