Head of Business Mobilisation

Location: Ipswich
£80,000 per annum

The job:

Sanctuary Personnel is looking to recruit a dedicated project management professional to work as Head of Business Mobilisation.

You will be implementing new business initiatives and you will be developing services within the public sector to help improve the lives of children.

The successful candidate will provide support and organisation to the business task streams throughout each mobilisation, providing clear instructions and reporting on progress to the board.

Main Responsibilities

• Total accountability for the successful planning and mobilisation of new business ideas
• Engagement with key stakeholders and act as of the conduit to ensure mobilisation plan meets current and future business requirements
• Address and mitigate any highlighted issues or risks which may impact the successful delivery of the project, ensuring business continuity during transition
• Accountable for the management of the budget, ensuring the successful delivery within budget constraints
• Accountable for coordinating team leaders from each relevant department involved with the mobilisation, managing them through a defined mobilisation process/framework
• Report and communicate overate status, progress and issues to the senior management team
• Be accountable for the implementation of a robust service delivery model, utilising standardised systems already developed
• Accountable for managing and developing client relationships in conjunction with the business development team and contract management team
• Delivery of financial plan as per the project.
• Creating pricing models and value propositions
• Identify barriers to entry, governance and legislations
 Review market tenders and set clear procurement strategy/route to market
 Pipeline management and reporting

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous project or programme management experience
• Prince 2 qualified with good project management experience
• Proven track record in managing people
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects or programmes
• Good communication and negotiation skills at all levels of management
• Ability to work and manage people within tight deadlines
• Ability to respond to both the needs of the business and the client
• Highly organised and responsive, with the ability to deliver under pressure
• Highly capable stakeholder management and communication skills
• Great team working ethos and commitment on delivery and learning
• Self-motivated and the ability to manage own workload and those of others
• Able to work flexibly, responding to rapid changing priorities
• Experience in using project planning tools such as MS project
