Lauren is one of the most invested social care recruitment consultants you could meet. After all, she’s all about creating genuine connections with her candidates and clients. You see, Lauren has always enjoyed a fast-paced career based on trust. Having spent several years working for a commercial oil supplier before joining Sanctuary in 2019, she’s quite the expert at negotiating.
She also happens to have a very personal reason for entering social care recruitment. In the past, she has supported vulnerable adults as a domiciliary carer and volunteered her time to care for people with learning difficulties. Her sister, with whom she spends a lot of time, also works in social care, so the importance of her role as a consultant never gets lost.
Today, she uses her passion for the sector by placing social workers into roles where they can make a positive difference.
Her other passion, though, as all her candidates will tell you, is Italy. Having visited more times than she can remember, she is fascinated by the culture, food, architecture and history. She even hopes to move there one day!
