David is one of three board-level directors at Sanctuary Personnel. Since joining the company in 2004, David has tendered successfully for over 100 public services contracts.
Having a strong strategic mindset, David works closely with clients and partners to make sure applications are clear, practical, commercially viable, and meet the exacting needs of the organisation.
This approach has seen Sanctuary Personnel win high-profile tenders as well as being awarded a place on three NHS approved frameworks.
One of the many reasons David enjoys his directorship at Sanctuary is because the company has the capacity to affect change. In David’s words “Many organisations find better ways of delivering services to families. But Sanctuary is unusual as we can invest in them, with the support of shareholders who are sincere about what this means.”
A clear communicator in every aspect of his life, he loves the written-word. To paraphrase David who was once asked by a social work professional how he got into writing bids and tenders:
“I told him about my obsession with words; comic book script writing with my children, translating patristic texts, and writing jokes under newspaper articles. It’s a way of life.”
