Sanctuary’s marketing team has been nominated for a national Drum Marketing Award

We are thrilled to announce that Sanctuary Personnel’s marketing team has been shortlisted for a national award at the Drum Marketing Awards 2015

The recently announced shortlist includes some of the UK’s top marketing agencies promoting high profile brands such as easyJet, Pepsi Max, Sainsbury’s, Domino’s and Warner Bros.

Our marketing department, which has been nominated in the ‘In-House Marketing Team of the Year’ category, supports the national recruitment service Sanctuary offers to professionals working within healthcare, social care and the criminal justice system.
Over the past year, this has involved repositioning the Sanctuary brand, website development and a new content strategy across print and digital media to improve candidate engagement and support.

Sanctuary’s Head of Marketing, Andrew Pirie, said: “Our mission was both ambitious and innovative – we wanted to draw on Sanctuary’s specialist knowledge and understanding of the sector to offer our candidates more than just a service that found them a job. Through our marketing initiatives, we now offer greater ongoing career support, advice, guidance and relevant and informative editorial.”

Our marketing team has provided unrivalled support for our candidates and their colleagues, including holding a series of online discussions on the Continuing Professional Development requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) – which was praised by Robert Templeton, Council Member of the HCPC. The team invited industry experts to take part in the Q&A sessions, one of which resulted in 87% of participants being more confident about the changes. (The replays of the first and second online discussions are still available to view).

The team also identified that there are few trade publications within the social work sector and have developed our small social work newsletter to become a quarterly 24-page magazine, featuring  interviews with industry leaders, social workers’ views and ideas, employer spotlights and special reports. Be sure to take a look at our General Election Special Edition, which details what the political parties are promising for the profession.

With the success of these projects evident in the feedback received by our candidates, we are delighted that our marketing team has received national recognition.

The winners of the Drum Marketing Awards 2015 will be announced at the awards event on Thursday 7 May at the Marriott Grosvenor Square, London.

Good luck marketing!
