Sanctuary rides for St Elizabeth Hospice

Tagged In:  Charity, Social Work

Sanctuary Personnel were delighted to be involved in another charity fundraiser, this time for a local charity, St Elizabeth Hospice.

These are a charity close to many of our hearts, who have more than likely looked after an individual who is closer to you than you think. Every year, they rely on receiving millions of pounds in just fundraising and donations to keep going.

This year St Elizabeth Hospice hosted a static bike challenge for local businesses and their staff to take part in and compete against other businesses in and around Suffolk.

The event was made up of four races, three of which see staff work together to cycle as many miles as possible in a 30 minute time-frame. The final race saw each respective CEO / senior manager from each company take on the challenge and see how many miles they can do also.

As a business, we gave a fantastic effort managing to achieve a team distance of 23.06km and our CFO, Justin Jones, turned in a whopping score of 23.58km – a huge well done to all involved!

Sanctuary Personnel are proud to have raised £250 so far and donations for this are still more than welcome – simply click the link below to donate.
