Social Work – Adult and Community

Our client has a full time vacancy for a Principal Contract Officer to work within Adult and Community Services based in Sandwell with a pay rate of £30+ (limited company worker) per hour.

Duties Include -
- To take lead responsibility for the development and review of unit policy and contracts for designated areas and to ensure that such policy and procedure is implemented within the Team.
- To ensure that procedures and contracts are updated in line with legislative requirements and advise on any action necessitated by changes in national or local policy or legislation.
- To be responsible for the management, supervision and coordination of the Contract Monitoring Officer designated to the post holders area of responsibility.
- To develop staff competencies by providing a supportive learning environment and ensuring that training and educational needs are identified and where appropriate training arranged.

Requirements -
You must have a relevant Social Work qualification (BA / MA Social Work / DipSW or equivalent), be professionally registered in the area you wish to work - SSSC for Scotland, CCW for Wales, NISCC for Northern Ireland or GSCC for England*; and be eligible to work in the UK. Candidates applying to work in England can hold SSSC, CCW, NISCC or GSCC registration. You must have a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience.
