Social Worker Job – Children With Disabilities

Our client has full time vacancies for two Qualified Social Workers to work within a Children’s Disabilities Team based in Swindon with a pay rate of £29 per hour depending on experience.

This position is within a team that works around Intake and Long Term assessment with a majority of cases being with Children In Need who have learning or physical disabilities or autism.

Duties Include -
- Undertake duty work.
- Attend CIN meetings.
- Some court work.
- Take on complex cases.

Requirements -
You must have a relevant Social Work qualification (BA / MA Social Work / DipSW or equivalent), be professionally registered in the area you wish to work - SSSC for Scotland, CCW for Wales, NISCC for Northern Ireland or GSCC for England*; and be eligible to work in the UK. Candidates applying to work in England can hold SSSC, CCW, NISCC or GSCC registration. You must have a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience in Children and Families. You must also be competent with written work, be able to use your own initiative and be a car driver and have access to your own vehicle.
