Adults Assistant Team Manager- East Cheshire

We require a Qualified Social Worker to work as an Adults Assistant Team Manager in Cheshire. This is a contract position with an immediate start. The pay rate for this role is £27-£33 per hour.

Duties Include -
- To ensure provision of quality, professional social work practice in relation to high risk complex matters and assist the Team Manager to efficiently deploy the resources of the team.
- Manage specific project developments as identified by the Team Manager to enable the Department to meet its targets creatively, effectively and within budgetary constraints.
- Supervise, motivate, develop, support and monitor subordinate staff performance within Department policies and priorities, in order to maximise the effectiveness of workers.
- Assess the need for services including the identification of risk, the need for protection and determine the method of intervention, in order to effectively target resources.

Requirements -
You must have a relevant Social Work qualification (BA / MA Social Work / DipSW or equivalent), be professionally registered for the GSCC and be eligible to work in the UK. Candidates applying to work in England can hold SSSC, CCW, NISCC or GSCC registration.
This post will be split 50:50 between Nantwich and Macclesfield bases, car driver essential preferably experience of intermediate care and/or hospital social work. Ideally would like candidates to have experience of Paris IT system and/or Liquid Logic.
