Social Work Job – Looked After Children

Our client has full time vacancies for Senior Practitioners to work within a Looked After Children Team based in North London with pay rates of £28-32 (limited company worker) per hour.

Duties Include -
- Holding a complex caseload of looked after children.
- Initiating and completing care proceedings.
- Extensive court work.
- Preparing and implementing care plans.

Requirements -
You must have a relevant Social Work qualification (BA / MA Social Work / DipSW or equivalent), be professionally registered in the area you wish to work - SSSC for Scotland, CCW for Wales, NISCC for Northern Ireland or GSCC for England*; and be eligible to work in the UK. Candidates applying to work in England can hold SSSC, CCW, NISCC or GSCC registration. You must have a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience within a looked after children’s team.
