Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a diverse team across multiple sites, attending meetings as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Foster consistent approaches and philosophies within the department, liaising with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate departmental functions, integrating medical, nursing, social work, and psychosocial aspects.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including individual key working, risk assessment, and environment safety.
  • Develop team knowledge and practice, promoting innovative service delivery.
  • Manage human resources aspects, including performance, disciplinary matters, and absence.
  • Represent the service internally and externally, contributing to budget management and protocol development.
  • Uphold ethical standards, engaging in management supervision and team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Level 3 Substance Misuse or equivalent qualification.
  • ILM Level 5 Leadership & Management or equivalent.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of substance misuse, health and safety, and recovery principles.
  • Proven experience in managing change, multidisciplinary team working, and service development.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
