Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a diverse team across multiple sites, attending meetings as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards in line with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Foster consistent approaches and philosophies within the department, liaising with stakeholders.
- Coordinate departmental functions, integrating medical, nursing, social work, and psychosocial aspects.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including individual key working, risk assessment, and environment safety.
- Develop team knowledge and practice, promoting innovative service delivery.
- Manage human resources aspects, including performance, disciplinary matters, and absence.
- Represent the service internally and externally, contributing to budget management and protocol development.
- Uphold ethical standards, engaging in management supervision and team meetings.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- Level 3 Substance Misuse or equivalent qualification.
- ILM Level 5 Leadership & Management or equivalent.
- Comprehensive knowledge of substance misuse, health and safety, and recovery principles.
- Proven experience in managing change, multidisciplinary team working, and service development.
- Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
