Duties:

  • Support young people to improve their attendance in school as well as improving their engagement in their education placement
  • Develop creative, strengths-based approaches to working with children and families
  • Be based within the school although you will also be expected to support young people and their families within the community

Requirements of the Youth Justice Prevention Officer:

  • Degree or equivalent within Social Work
  • Social Work England registration
  • Previous experience working within Children's Services
  • Car Driver/have access to appropriate transport to travel citywide
