Sanctuary Personnel are currently seeking a compassionate Nurse to join our client's team in Bradford.
Shift Pattern:
- Shifts: 50/50, days and nights, 12.5-hour shifts (Day shifts: 07:30 am - 20:00 pm, Night shifts: 19:30 pm - 08:00 am),
- Shift pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, and then 5 days off
- Monday - Friday, no weekends
Main Responsibilities:
- Adherence to NMC guidelines and code of conduct
- Support in the development of the Clinic action plan
- Collaboration with primary and secondary care professionals for client recovery plans
- Ensuring high standards of accommodation and amenities for residents
- Conducting comprehensive nurse inductions
- Screening, triage, and assessment of clients, along with risk management
- Planning and administering care for individuals undergoing detoxification
- Monitoring medication effects and clinical observations
- Developing, reviewing, and monitoring recovery plans
- Providing case management and direct clinical care to assigned clients
- Responding to clinical emergencies and managing crises
- Maintaining admissions and treatment plans
- Liaising with Community Pharmacies for prescription management
- Participation in clinical audits and service reviews
- Facilitating client transfers to primary care services
- Data collation and contribution to service reports
- Occasional supervision of junior staff and volunteers
Requirements:
- UK recognised nursing qualification (RMN, RGN, CPN, or equivalent)
- Registered Nurse Mental Health or Registered Nurse General (NMC Registration and active PIN)
- Demonstrable experience in substance misuse field interventions
- Experience in clinical casework supervision
- Proficiency in comprehensive screening, assessments, and recovery plans
- Experience in managing substitute medication caseloads
- Established partnerships with healthcare providers
- Track record in managing challenging behavior incidents
- Proficiency in record-keeping and monitoring
- Knowledge of NICE guidelines, DANOS, and Models of Care Frameworks
- Understanding of evidence-based practice in substance misuse
- Computer literacy and IT skills for administrative and reporting purposes
- Excellent case management abilities
- Ability to commute/relocate: Bradford: reliable commuting or relocation required
