Sanctuary Personnel are seeking an Advanced Occupational Therapist to join our client's Occupational Therapy Team at a prestigious healthcare facility in London, renowned for its excellence in specialist cancer treatments, robotic surgeries, and stem cell transplantation. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll manage a diverse caseload of clients with complex needs, conducting thorough assessments and contributing to the development and enhancement of Occupational Therapy (OT) services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments for each patient
  • Collaborating in the planning, development, and evaluation of OT services within a designated area, including managing defined projects
  • Planning and implementing treatment using a goal-oriented approach within an interdisciplinary team framework
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date treatment records, documenting individual patient treatment plans and progress
  • Providing leadership and support for junior staff through supervision and appraisal

Key requirements for this role include:

  • HCPC registration
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within an ITU setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to the needs of the department and service
  • Continuous professional development in Neurology, Rehabilitation, OT, or ITU
  • Experience in delivering teaching to colleagues
