Main Responsibilities:

  • Implementing operational plans, procedures, and educational programs.
  • Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and safeguarding protocols, including maintaining clean facilities and managing children's records.
  • Providing attentive care and supervision to meet all children's needs, collaborating closely with local primary schools for seamless transitions.
  • Maximizing resource utilization to maintain cost-effectiveness.
  • Upholding high standards of behavior and discipline, and advocating for equality and inclusion.
  • Implementing all setting policies, meeting OFSTED standards, and maintaining requisite records.
  • Engaging in promotional activities to foster relationships with parents, schools, and the community, and supporting marketing efforts.
  • Collaborating with schools and agencies to deliver comprehensive services to local families.
  • Participating in planning and staff meetings, and working across various Children's Centres and early years settings as needed.
  • Undertaking additional responsibilities as necessary for the effective operation of the setting.

Key Requirements:

  • Possession of a Level 3 diploma in early years education.
  • Minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a comparable role.
  • Verification of eligibility to work and reside in the UK.
  • Valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
  • Provision of two references
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license without any endorsements.
  • Ability to independently commute to and from the workplace.
