Main Responsibilities:
- Implementing operational plans, procedures, and educational programs.
- Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and safeguarding protocols, including maintaining clean facilities and managing children's records.
- Providing attentive care and supervision to meet all children's needs, collaborating closely with local primary schools for seamless transitions.
- Maximizing resource utilization to maintain cost-effectiveness.
- Upholding high standards of behavior and discipline, and advocating for equality and inclusion.
- Implementing all setting policies, meeting OFSTED standards, and maintaining requisite records.
- Engaging in promotional activities to foster relationships with parents, schools, and the community, and supporting marketing efforts.
- Collaborating with schools and agencies to deliver comprehensive services to local families.
- Participating in planning and staff meetings, and working across various Children's Centres and early years settings as needed.
- Undertaking additional responsibilities as necessary for the effective operation of the setting.
Key Requirements:
- Possession of a Level 3 diploma in early years education.
- Minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a comparable role.
- Verification of eligibility to work and reside in the UK.
- Valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
- Provision of two references
- Possession of a valid UK driving license without any endorsements.
- Ability to independently commute to and from the workplace.
