Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated Nursing Manager to join our client, situated in Woking, Surrey. Our client is a prestigious private rehabilitation centre renowned for its innovative therapeutic approach in treating addiction and eating disorders. Nestled in a Georgian house amidst picturesque gardens, our client accommodates up to 18 low-risk private patients, offering a serene environment conducive to healing.

The selected candidate will work under the guidance of a Senior Manager with a nursing background, overseeing on-site nursing operations. Responsibilities include providing clinical oversight to a small team of nurses and healthcare assistants, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care within a therapeutically oriented framework. The role, ideally structured as supernumerary, will typically run from 09:00 am - 17:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with flexibility considered.

Key duties include:

  • Operational management of the nursing team, encompassing staffing, resource allocation, rostering, and workforce planning.
  • Provision of supervision, professional development, and support for staff well-being.
  • Participation in on-call duties on a rotational basis within the Senior Management Team (SMT).
  • Maintaining high standards of care for individuals grappling with addictions and eating disorders.
  • Cultivating therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement.
  • Adherence to ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and legislative guidelines.
  • Contribution to patient assessments, care planning, and progress monitoring.
  • Involvement in nursing team recruitment and potential participation in SMT recruitment processes.

  • Over three years of nursing experience.
