What your journey will look like

As a Sanctuary candidate, you can expect to always feel supported. We’ll never place you in a role in the hope that it’ll suit you, we’re much more purposeful than that. Our goal is to find you the right roles at different stages of your career that make you feel happy and fulfilled. It’s simple; we care because you do, and your journey with us reflects this.

Our Process
At Sanctuary, we’ll pair you with roles we know directly match your skills, knowledge, experience, and future aspirations. We’ve invested in the right people and technology to eliminate any guesswork so that you only ever hear about the jobs that tick all your boxes!

Dedicated Support
You’ll be allocated a dedicated, experienced consultant who will be sympathetic to the complex, challenging and sensitive work you do. They will be your primary point of contact throughout your placement and, quite likely, for many years to come. Their job is to pair you with the right job at the right time.

Access to exclusive jobs
As a master vendor and a preferred supplier to many health and social care employers throughout the UK, we often recruit exclusively. This means that you can be the first to know about new opportunities. Likewise, if there’s somewhere you’ve always wanted to work, we can facilitate a conversation with the employer.

Reliable, inhouse payroll
Paying you accurately, on time, every time is our priority. That’s why our in-house payroll team has invested in smart technology to make the tracking and submitting of timesheets as easy as possible.

Daily pay for shifts
Enjoy more freedom over when you get paid. If you’re paid PAYE and are working a shift through Sanctuary, you have the option of Daily Pay. This means, if you submit your timesheet by 11am, we’ll process a BACS payment to you the same day.

Free DBS/Compliance
Having an in-house compliance team means that we’ll take care of all the compliance checks and paperwork before you start working through us. You won’t have the hassle or cost of having to arrange this yourself. Our dedicated compliance team will organise registration certificates, references and immunisations (where necessary) and provide appropriate training to ensure you are prepared ahead of your start date.

Clinical Governance Support
We employ highly experienced clinical governance leads who work directly within healthcare settings and inform our service review process. Part of their role is to also ensure that you are supported within your job to safely deliver a high standard of care.

Digital copy of Social Work News magazine
Bi-annually, you’ll receive a free copy of Social Work News, a magazine ‘for social workers, by social workers.’ The publication carries a wide range of thought-provoking accounts, touching on the things that matter most to practitioners.

Recommend a Friend Bonus
As an existing Sanctuary candidate, you’ll receive £250 for every ‘friend’ you recommend who completes 100 hours of work with us. It’s our way of saying thank you for helping us grow our community.
